SPECIMEN KAMISORI TOISHI #49

VINTAGE OZAKI KAMISORI TOISHI. This stone was most likely mined and slabbed up in the
1940s or 1950s' The bold diagonal striations are seen in some suita Ozaki stones, and this is the
predominate mine that this pattern is seen.

Being an easy stone to use, the cutting speed does not belittle the fineness of the grit. This stone
has proved, in my shop by providing me with a close and comfortable shave, to be an excellent
and unique razor hone.

Very pure in overall composition with a bold kiita yellow hue indicative of fast cutting stones these
color tennen toishi are a joy to use. This one has a buttery feeling under the blade.

All my stones come fully lapped and ready to use.
