#649 Okudo asagi

Classic foggy or cloudy pattern asagi without any kawa which suggests
that it was cut from a larger stone. Tomae stones are the most prevalent
type in the Kyoto mines and this stone is perfectly homogeneous, fine
and a generous razor size. It will cut 90% of the western steels without
too much effort. I was able to bring my Henckels razor up to HHT5
in just a few minutes and the shave was close and comfortable.

The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the corners and
edges beveled unless otherwise noted.  All of my stones come with a tested
and appropriately sized tomonaguara slurry stone, and a money back
guarantee minus the return shipping.
