#644 Okudo kan pattern tomae

This stones kan pattern reminds me of those from the Nakayama mine
but because it does not display the typical sparkling black mineral
element I am going to ascribe it to the Okudo mine which was at
the same altitude and very close by.

The kan is very light and will not affect you blade in any negative way
and will not enhance the stone either. As it is this is just one really fine and
fast razor hone with just enough asagi green coloration to suggest an
easy to use medium hard tomae.

As you can see the back shows an indented area at one corner and
running down that side where the stone is only 10mm tick. The price
reflects this issue.

The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the corners and
edges beveled unless otherwise noted.  All of my stones come with a tested
and appropriately sized tomonaguara slurry stone, and a money back
guarantee minus the return shipping.
