#590 Shobudani mellow gray tomae
This Shobudani is reminiscent of the foggy or cloudy granular
pattern found in Nakayama mined stones but the kawa skin
on the back speaks of the Shobu mine just over the mountain.
A very pure stone it can be used with a Mikawa nagura
progression or with a diamond plate generated slurry for the
edge development phrase or with just clear water for the
final polishing step. On clipped corner provides an
economical option to a more expensive rock.
The stone (toishi) has been lapped flat and the
corners and edges beveled unless otherwise noted. All of my
stones come with a tested and appropriately sized tomonaguara
slurry stone, and a money back guarantee minus the return shipping.
