#580 Shobudani suita
Really nice suita from a medium hard layer it could be used as a
pre-finisher for razors or a final stone for knives. Compact and stout
this suita has distinct bands of red renge that can easily be see from the
back and sides and on the topside a really fine pattern of black gomma
or sesame pattern. There is one chip on the top at one end that will eventually
lap down. There are a few areas of kawa skin on the back as you can
see in the photos.
The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the corners and
edges beveled unless otherwise noted. All of my stones come with a tested
and appropriately sized tomonaguara slurry stone, and a money back
guarantee minus the return shipping.
