Nakayama iro akapin #516

Not an overly hard stone, this piece is from the akapin strata which is the shallowest
layers in the mines. It will absorb water and it will self slurry and I consider this stone to
be a pre-polishing stone to be used before your final stone for either chisels or razors or
any other small tool. The grit is sharp and will abrade any kind of steel including super
blue paper steel. There is a tiny area on the back that shows the Nakayama kawa skin
with the shiny black crystal element. The front is made up of pastel yellows, faint reds
and greens.

The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the corners and edges beveled
unless otherwise noted.  All of my stones come with a money back guarantee minus the
return shipping.
This stone will be shipped with a tested tomonagura slurry stone.
