A beautiful Narutaki tomae awsedo toishi perfect for hard carbon blue or white steel
traditional Japanese kanna blades, A2 carbon steel plane blades, knives or chisels. A
fast cutting stone that will leave a hazy finish if used with a slurry or a bright finish if used
with running clear water like under a tap. The kawa skin on the back is one of the best I
have seen, totally awesome. Wide enough for 70mm kanna blade but modestly priced
because it is slightly shorter then the typical 205mm bench stone and thinner.
This would be considered a medium hard finishing stone.
