#291 Okudoi asagi
I see this Okudo as a transition stone that will evolve from a green asagi
to a darker mizu blue/gray color as seen on the one side that has
been sanded. The hardness and the grit content and fineness will
remain consistant, it was just a matter of alternate clay components.
A really hard stone I see this working well with Mikawa type nagura,
tomonagura or with a diamond nagura plate. Beautiful fit and finish
including all four corners and an excellent kawa skin on the back.
The stone (toishi) has been lapped perfectly flat and the corners
and edges beveled unless otherwise noted. All of my stones come
with a tested and appropriately sized tomonaguara slurry stone,
and a money back guarantee minus the return shipping.
