#114 Shobudani kiita
This triangular kiita does provide enough width to easily
hone a western razor but the crafts person will need
some nice skills to do so. It is thick so as a hand held
stone is sits well above the palm of my hand.
One of those smoothest of smooth stones it can even be
used dry and still feels silky. Fast with a slurry the grain is very
consistent from front to back. There are some areas of
kawa on all three sides and on the back suggesting that it was
found at the end or nook of the stratified layer in the mine.
The stone (toishi) has been lapped flat and the
corners and edges beveled unless otherwise noted. All of my
stones come with a tested and appropriately sized tomonaguara
slurry stone, and a money back guarantee minus the return shipping.
