#1 Kiita Narutaki Bench stone

This large kiita stone came from the air raid shelter hoard. It has hand sawn
sides and ends that I have now lacquered except for the portion of the natural
kawa skin on the side. On of the purest blocks of stone you will find the yellow is
augmented with a wonderful faint band of rose color of the same hardness and
cutting abilities. The back of the stone is all kiita yellow, so that rose tint on the
top will fade over time with use. There is one prominent solid and not toxic
inclusion running across the face of the stone that is tight and can be felt
with a fingernail but not felt by the blade as it passes over line unless you
drag your blade across it at the edgeof the stone. The kawa skin is made
up of blacks and umbers.

I have tested this stone with a Henckels razor and was able to take the razor
straight from a 2000 grit Shapton bevel setting to the #1 kiita and I
ended up with an extremely keen razor that resulted in a super close and
smooth shave.

The stone (toishi) has been lapped flat and the corners and edges and
sides except for the kawa portion have been lacquered with Deft Semi-Gloss
Brushing Lacquer.  All of my stones come with a tested and appropriately sized
tomonaguara slurry stone, and a money back guarantee minus the return shipping.
